As soon as they walk and want to get up something: there's no minimum age to climb with an adult, and it's free for ages 5 and under. Kids' classes have their own age groups.

No, but you can: the adult may climb at the same time. An adult 18 or over keeps eyes on the kids at all times: one child under 7 per adult, who stays within arm's reach; two kids from 7 to 10, or three from 11 to 13.
